Diablo III Mobile UI/UX Design Concept

With Diablo III porting over to Nintendo Switch, I thought it would be fun to design the game for mobile phones. I saw some parallels it had as an Action RPG to other mobile RPGs out there, like Nexon's Darkness Rises.

Here, I created wireframes of Diablo III's current UI if it were to be a mobile game. Changing its original Bottom HUD to virtual joystick capabilities would allow the player to experience its already feel-good fighting mode from the original game in a new way.
One version shows the spirit bar closer to the actions that affect it while the second shows the spirit bar closer to the player's health and information.

Above is a work in progress mock up of the gameplay. I wanted to see if I could paint in Blizzard's painted UI style.
The background, character, map and icons are all from the original game. I researched and used Nick Slough's original Diablo III UI art as reference for painting the UI.
